Description of the Event:
Change is inevitable. Progress is optional! ---Andy Stern
Fact: The past is known as history, the present is momentary and our decisions always relate to the Future! Question: How, then, can we make optimal decisions in the present? Truth: The pace of change is accelerating with doubling times for IT, communications and biotech ranging between one and two years. Question: How does this impact the role of education? Truth: Adapting to this accelerated rate of change is not optional. Question: What can educators do now to help students prepare? New Rule of the Marketplace: Power shared = Power multiplied!
